On Saturday, August 23, 2025 Ascension had its 3rd annual Blessing of the Backpacks (120 backpacks to Amazing Grace Ministries, Project Hospitality & El Centro Staten Island.) Thank you to Dr. Holly Bonner for writing the grants and to our parishioners who contributed to make this possible! Also thanks to the folks who helped assemble all 120 backpacks!

Ascension has served the residents of Lakeside Manor for 30 years, meeting at 2:30 PM on Sundays with a Eucharist service followed by refreshments served by volunteers. On Sunday, July 13, 2025, our Lakeside family joined us for a picnic after the 10 am service.
